I know I’m 26 days late, but Happy New Year everyone, I hope 2012 brings you all happiness and be a fantastic one.  I can’t believe January is already done, its supposed to be a down time month for me, but under the contrary, it’s been insanely busy and super awesome! LIKE SUPER AWESOME!!!  I’ve had the pleasure of working with some great people, photographing new venues for Bar Mitzvah’s, super duper cute babies and just so much going on.

With all this craziness, I was still able to finish editing Jenn and Toby’s wedding from Jamaica.  What better way than to start my first blog of the year than a beautiful destination wedding.  Jenn and Toby were married on December 5, this was also my 1 year anniversary, which was also the day they were engaged a year prior.  So this date is very sentimental to us all.  The morning of the wedding was very relaxed, all the bridesmaids ended up getting ready in my room because it was closest to their beach ceremony location.  It worked out amazing, the weather was hot and gorgeous and just how it should be.  It was a very emotional ceremony, everyone cried, except the bride! 🙂  Everything was perfect, it was a great day and amazing super fun night at the disco, which I’ll keep those photos and stories in the private file lol.  That’s all I’m saying.  Enjoy the photos and congrats Jenn + Toby.

On November 30th 2011, 25 of us jumped on air planes and flew to Montego Bay, Jamaica.  We stayed at the Grand Palladium to enjoy the week celebration of Jenn + Toby’s wedding.  We did 2 engagement sessions, the sun goes down so quick that we decided to split the sessions into 2 days so we can enjoy the sun during the day, and once 4pm hit, we went out for the session.   The hotel was stunning, there were so many nukes and crannies to take photos… I really wanted to take advantage of them, we had a blast! The wedding will be coming shortly, there are so many photos to go through, we had such a great time.  Here are a few from their engagement session to start the ball rolling.  Enjoy~

Melany + Marcin’s wedding was the second last wedding of the year for me.  It was a perfect Oct day for me, they had me cover the ceremony and then the bridal portraits at Trafalgar Castle.  I could not be more thrilled with the turn out of their photos, Melany was all about her and Martin, the more time with them the merrier, it was a photographers dream 🙂  We got some amazing classic portraits, one’s that will be cherished by the two of them forever! In a word… TIMELESS!!

My good friends at Wild Strawberry Hair Salon (www.thewildstrawberrysalon.com) in Richmond Hill asked me to come in and do a shoot to show case their looks with hair and make up.  The salon and the staff are awesome, so friends, professional and they offer loads of services… one stop shop!
