No better time like the first day of summer to blog a wonderful wedding blog.  On May 22, 2011, Bryna and Ari tied the knot at The Avenue Banquet Hall in Thornhill.  They came to me by referral and it was a match right from the start! They booked so far in advance that we were able to do multiple engagement sessions for all the seasons, summer, fall and Winter.  By having multiple engagement sessions we designed a GORGEOUS signing book for them.  Not only did we do the engagement sessions, their wedding theme was vintage classic, so they came to the studio for a photo-session so we could design a movie poster.  No one knew about it, was a total surprise, even to their parents.  The poster turned out better than I could have imagined.  The wedding was so much fun, Doug (from MichaelRaimi Studios) and I had a blast!  Their friends were a blast, so much energy… Bryna and Ari also threw in another surprise for their guests, by getting up on the stage and playing with the band, drums and trumpet.  They played Tequila… so fun! I can seriously go on and on about these two and their day, but I think I’ll just let the photos speak for themselves.

Ok I didn’t take this last picture but thought it was the funniest thing. One of the bridesmaids emailed it to me and I couldn’t resist to add it to the blog! LOL

From those of you who don’t remember, Kristel + Mike are doing multiple engagement sessions for their guest signing book… they booked me well in advance of their wedding so we are able to get in the seasons of their engagement! LOVE IT!!!  Here is the link from their winter engagement (Feb 9, 2011 – Kristel + Mike are engaged!)  We went out a couple weeks ago to Kariya Park in Mississauga, it was so gorgeous outside.  I’ve never been to that park, it was a suggestion from a fellow photographer… thanks Erika (www.rowellphoto.com).  We did a walk around the park, stopping at different areas, nicks and crannies… you know the usual.  Lots of laughs, lots of love! Between them that is… although they did give me some lovin hehe… Hope you enjoy the photos. One more shoot to go… SUMMER BABY!

Two weeks ago, with a bit of nerves in the tummy, Harrison was called to the Torah and did an amazing job!  You would have never guessed he was nervous.  We did the synagogue photos on the Thursday morning service, it was pretty early, a nice 8am start but the lighting was perfect.  It was perfect weather, you couldn’t ask for more…

The following Saturday we partied it up at The Pickle Barrel Banquet at Markville Mall.  Super fun evening… got some great shots, we set up the photobooth and designed a custom background to go with the “nightclub” party theme!

Welcome to my new site… I want to say thank you to Bruno from Bitq Studios (www.bitqstudios.com) who did a fabulous job with my site’s face lift.  He did my original design back in 2008-2009, we decided to keep the clean finish of it but add a modern twist.  He rocks!

Hope you like the new site, I love it… I love the ease of navigation, what you see is what you get! I love how big the photos display and how everything keeps you in the site! you’re stuck here… ha ha ha (villain laugh… not really, yes… i’m in a weird mood right now)

Check back every so often for updated photos for the “featured photo” page, you never know, you’re photo may be my featured photo of the week/month.  I’ll keep up with my blogs of course… maybe not so late at night thought LOL

I’ve been trying to come up with some new ways to use the studio and started looking at the calendar and noticed that next month (May) is National Pet Month. Technically it’s the first week of May but figured I’d use the whole month and invite you to come to the studio for a photoshoot with your pet(s), or as I call it a Pet-Session. All pets welcome of course, bring the kidlets, husbands and wives as well. After-all, we are all family and should be included.

Here are days reserved for the shoot:
May 1st 9:00am – 4:00pm
May 15th 9:00am – 4:00pm
