I’ve been trying to come up with some new ways to use the studio and started looking at the calendar and noticed that next month (May) is National Pet Month. Technically it’s the first week of May but figured I’d use the whole month and invite you to come to the studio for a photoshoot with your pet(s), or as I call it a Pet-Session. All pets welcome of course, bring the kidlets, husbands and wives as well. After-all, we are all family and should be included.

Here are days reserved for the shoot:
May 1st 9:00am – 4:00pm
May 15th 9:00am – 4:00pm
(first come, first serve so book today)

I really feel lucky…. I truly have amazing clients who are turning into really good friends… Karly and Jonathan are no exception.  We met, we chatted, we bonded, they booked! It really felt that easy and smooth.  It was a fun process because we were both in the planning phase of our weddings and had a lot of the same tastes, so it was fun trading notes.  Al and I had a blast at their wedding. They got married at The Avenue on February 20, they did everything there, from the getting ready, the “reveal”, the chill time and the family photos and lets not forget the party, it was all so amazing.  An amazing couple with amazing family and friends.  I absolutely loved that Karly and Jonathan were my first wedding of 2011, it was a great way to start a new year. It was so hard to narrow down their photos just for this blog, there were SO many great shots! Karly and Jonathan will definitely be around for a while if I have my way… maternity/kids/family photos that I want to shoot and I will probably include the Dane!  Hope you enjoy!

Kristel and Mike came to me by referral, we right away hit it off.  I was super excited when they booked me, the connection was, in a word: Awesomeness!  Lots of laughs, couldn’t ask for anything better.  They decided that they wanted to have an engagement guest signing book, since their wedding is almost a year away, we are going to do a year of engagement seasons.  We divided their engagement session into 3 mini sessions which we are doing in 3 seasons.  The first being winter of course, it was a really sunny but brisk cold day.  Kristel did really dress to the occasion but it worked because Mike was there to keep her warm, as he should be! After freezing our tushies off, we drove over to Starbucks and warmed up with a hot cup of Joe!  Here are some sneaks from the day, can’t wait till next time! Spring… yay.

Welcome to round three of Bryna + Ari’s engagement session.  This is the last of the engagement photos we’re doing for their guest signing book.  We did Summer, Fall and now Winter and the next time you’ll be seeing them is during the spring May wedding.  Winter is definitely a comfortable place for these 2 love birds, Bryna being a professional skater, makes sense that we had a “skating” shoot as part of it.   She didn’t wear her figure skates, but still showed me her comfort on the ice.  It was a beautiful sunny winter day, the air the crisp, the sun was bright, the snow was thrown and the love was shared.

February is such a special month to celebrate love and family,
so why not offer a “special” to capture a photograph of those people in your life.
