My last post was so long ago it feels like… I didn’t mean to neglect the blog but I must say I did have a good excuse… yup that’s right, I tied the knott! So with the wedding, the honeymoon, Christmas and New Year… I didn’t have time to update the blog with some shoots I did in November. I’ve bundled them all together, so enjoy the Bar Mitzvah, Engagement Shoot, Family shoot and Wedding… like a said, a bag of all sorts of goodies…
I’m going to keep this short and sweet… and not to say anything bad or ironic, but that’s exactly what Rachel is… she is a talented, amazing, funny, nice, young lady. That may be vertically challenged as I like to say but with that, you know what they say… GREAT things come in small packages. There is a mix of photos in this blog, Rachel and her mom Lisa were at the studio with me for over 3 hours doing her one on one shoot for her signing board and I think it turned out great, you can really see how special this girl is!
I had the pleasure in photographing Jane and Kale’s wedding. I was working with Gail from Nightingail Photography (http://nightingailphotography.com/blog/). We had a blast! We started at Jane’s house for the getting ready stuff, then we met with Gail and boys for the big reveal which was so nice… we walked the streets of Cabbage Town and did all the photos prior their ceremony and cocktail style reception at The Fifth downtown Toronto. It was nice to see some familiar faces and join the celebrations with their families! Congratulations to the both of you!
Oh the Schwartz’s… can they throw a party! On Oct 23rd Zane had his Bar Mitzvah at The Avenue. We started off at a local “park” that I’ve never been to but I’m so happy The Schwartz family introduced it to me. It’s about 3 mins from my studio and is so pretty, especially in the fall. We got great shots from there, we then went to The Avenue and did all the family pictures, had the service and then THE PARTY! Zane was introduced and rode in on his ATV, CRAZY! They had a DJ, dancers from Bounce who know how to throw a party. There were plasma’s on the wall, they had a popcorn machine, cotton candy, a photobooth, Pajama and toques, a magician, Candy Bar, Smash Cake… pretty much you name it, they had it! IN A WORD…. AWESOME! Here are some shots from the event…
On Oct 2nd, Blaire had her Bat Mitzvah in the back yard of her house. It was awesome! they had a full set up of tents, and lounge chairs and chandeliers and tables and and and… did not look like a back yard. It was a great party! Here are some sneaks…
